Allow me to introduce myself. I’m Krystle Joyce, and I’m a Modern Calligrapher in the Greater Toronto area. Most of my calligraphy work has been primarily focused on weddings, but I am excited to do work outside of that world!

When I’m not working on seating charts or wedding signage, I work in the financial services industry. Previously, I worked as a Visual Merchandiser where my passion for lettering was discovered. I worked on all things marketing and visual — from styling mannequins, executing installations around the store, to chalkboard and storefront signage & murals (five years later, I still use the same Bistro chalk markers).

I started learning modern calligraphy when I became very interested in planners and bullet journaling after seeing this becoming quite popular over the past few years. After some weeks of bullet journaling and quick doodles at work, it started to come natural to me!
